PARENT / STUDENT ALMA ACCOUNTS (K-12 students)

Alma will be your gateway to participate in your student's academic success. Your daily use of Alma allows you to see your student's academic progress. Alma is an additional tool to continue strengthening the academic relationship between teachers, students and parents/guardians. Contact information for your student's teachers is located on the front page of each Alma class. If you need assistance using Alma, we are available to provide training. A link to log in to Alma will be sent to you. You will have 24 hours to activate your Alma account once that email is sent. If you need assistance or need to have the email resent, please let Jessica know.

LITERATURE:

All High School students are required to complete the Literature Summer Work.

Choice Book Project due date: Thursday, August 10, 2024

All School Read is due the first day of school, Tuesday, September 3, 2024

MATH:

Students only need to complete the Math work for the specific subject the student will be entering next year. Spend no more than 30 minutes on each section for 2 weeks (plan to do this closer to the due date so that your skills are fresh for the school year).

Math summer work allows teachers to understand student’s individual skill levels.

TECHNOLOGY AT CLARK

Requirements:

Every student at Clark is required to own a computing device and bring it to school each day, fully charged, with required apps loaded, to do classwork and work collaboratively with their teachers and peers.

Students in Kindergarten through Grade 6 are required to privately purchase any iPad manufactured from 2019 onward.

  • It is advised that students have an iPad with a minimum 128GB of storage regardless of model.

  • Chromebooks are not compatible with our school tech support and printers, please do not bring them to school.

    Students in Grades 7 through 12 are required to privately purchase any iPad or laptop manufactured from 2019 onward.

    Middle and High School students are granted more flexibility to choose the computing tools that work best for them.

  • Middle School students may choose one device; High School students may bring more than one device for school use (many students use more than one type of device depending on the task they’re working on).

  • It is advised that students have an iPad with a minimum 128GB of storage regardless of model.

  •   Laptops should be a MacBook with an M1 chip or newer (and able to run apps).

The school supports the students with additional technology, including:

  • Apple TVs and screens in each classroom

  • Standard printers as well as 3D Printers


VAN TRANSPORTATION

Sign ups for Van Transportation for the 24-25 School Year will be sent out out via email. Cost per route varies. Contact jessicaf@clarkschool.com with any questions.
