FUTURE LAB: A 21st Century Learning Experience

VIRTUAL REALITY

The cornerstone of Future Lab, our suite of virtual reality platforms, represents the potential future of education. Our individual VR headsets enable activities such as 3D field trips, and with our set of HTC Vive systems, we usher in an era of innovative, immersive learning.

3D PRINTING

With our 3D printers, students can turn their imaginations into reality! All students have access to these devices, facilitating creative and functional projects that they design and construct both on their own and collaboratively.

VIDEO/AUDIO PRODUCTION

In our production studio, students become producers of original content, creating professional-quality videos, audio files, and other digital media. In addition to helping students gain technical expertise, we focus on developing their online personas and being positive, productive digital citizens.

MAKER TOOLS

We give our students tools to make things. With resources from circuit boards to soldering irons to reclaimed materials, our mobile maker lab provides opportunities for hands-on, experiential projects.

AUGMENTED REALITY

We have assembled a set of augmented reality programs that integrate digital information into the physical world. Students can point their iPads up to learn about constellations in the night sky, draw on paper to create masterpieces on their screen, explore virtual models of the human body, and much more.

ROBOTICS

Our students have the chance to put their coding and robotics expertise to use. High School students work both on their own and with mentoring programs that pair them with younger students. Not only do they gain experience as instructors, but they also continue to explore their own interests.
